Mr. MARK MORGAN, US Army Retired

Mr. Morgan's educational background includes graduating from Bastrop High School, Bastrop, LA, in 1985; graduating from Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana, Monroe) with a B.S. in Construction Management in 1989; and graduating from the American Military University (then in Manassas, VA) with an M.A. in Land Warfare in 2002.

Mr. Morgan is also a US Army Veteran. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps of the U.S. Army in 1989, and then completed five years of active duty and five years of Pennsylvania National Guard duty. He left the service in February 2000. His military service includes being stationed at Red Stone Arsenal, Alabama; Erlangen, Germany; and Fort Lee, Virginia while on active duty. He served as a platoon leader, maintenance shop officer, company executive officer, Battalion S-4, and company commander. Some of Mr. Morgan's decorations include the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the Saudi Arabian Medal for the Liberation of Kuwait.
