BBQ Boston Butt fundraiser

The Academy’s recent BBQ Boston Butt fundraiser was a huge success. The excellent smoked pork BBQ was due largely to the efforts of Mr. Bill Mixon of Auburn , AL. The Southern Smoke cooking team spent two days cooking the 400 Boston butts that were sold. We are also grateful to many of our parents for making donations to this fundraiser. Lyman Ward Cadets volunteered to help with the BBQ and they provided the extra manpower needed to help distribute the finished product. The school hopes to plan future events with Southern Smoke on our campus.
