Cadet wins First Place Award at the Alabama State Junior Beta Convention

Cadet Taylor Drouin received a 1st Place Award from the Alabama Junior Beta State Convention in March 2010. He entered his “Eagle” in the Sketching (Pen/Ink/Pencil) Category of the Arts and Crafts competition. Taylor is a 7th grader from Auburn, Alabama, completing his second year at Lyman Ward.  His sketching is a result of his participation in the Intensive Drawing class, one of several activities offered at the Academy.
