Lyman Ward Soccer

By Ken Cochran

Lyman Ward Ranger soccer player Landon Reid dribbles down the field from a game earlier in the season.
LWMA is winless in nine tries on the season, but one Ranger coach, Kibwe Brown, said the team has to get better in the second half of games to finally get a win.

"We seem to be a first half team, which, in most sports, doesn't brew good results," Brown said. "We have a few injuries to some important players, but the week break we had should give us a strong finish."

Brown said the main game LWMA had a chance to win was against Springwood.

"The first time we played Springwood, we went into halftime 1-1," Brown said. "We had every chance of finishing with a win, but it just didn't happen for us."

LWMA's next home game is April 2 at 4 p.m.
