  • BBQ Boston Butt fundraiser

    The Academy’s recent BBQ Boston Butt fundraiser was a huge success. The excellent smoked pork BBQ was due largely to the efforts of Mr. Bill Mixon of Auburn , AL. The Southern Smoke cooking team spent two days cooking the 400 Boston butts that were sold.

    CAMP HILL, AL --- Twenty Lyman Ward Military Academy sophomores took the PLAN (pre-ACT) assessment in May.  Academic Dean and Counselor MAJ Jeff Damron says the results show that most of the sophomore class is on target to meet ACT’s College Readiness Benchmarks by the time they graduate from high school.
