Alumni joins Cadets on Annual Ski Trip

Alumni Rob Post and daughter Madeline taking ski lessons
LWMA alumni Rob Post, Class of 1984, drove from his home outside Philadelphia, PA to the ski lodge at Sugar Mountain, N.C. to meet Colonel Jenrette and the cadets who were on the LWMA annual ski trip.  The purpose of Rob's trip was to bring checks totaling $4,000 for the Phoenix Raising campaign fund drive.  Rob, accompanied by his daughter Madeline, drove nearly 14 hours one way to bring the donations, but had time to take a ski lesson and try their hand at skiing.

Colonel Jenrette invited Rob and his daughter to join the LWMA group for dinner at a local Italian restaurant so he could enjoy the company of the cadets and allow Colonel Jenrette to express his profound thanks for the donations.  Colonel Jenrette praised Rob for his initiative in contacting LWMA alumnus from the 1980's in his personal campaign to raise funds for his Alma Mater.  This is but one example of the dedication of the LWMA family in their combined effort to provide the funds the Academy needs to return to its premier place among the nation's military academies.  Thanks Rob!
